totally overlooked this song but it just hit me pretty hard

currently streaming I’m With You off iTunes (only once through before it officially drops next week, promise)

it’s a completely different vibe from Stadium Arcadium which only makes sense and there’s an obvious lack of John Frusciante (UGH) but that doesn’t make it bad.. just different in a way I’m not used to; lighter, i think.

so far “Brendan’s Death Song” is an immediate standout and even if I hate every other song on this album (doubt it) it all would’ve been worth it for that one

this is exciting. 2011 rules (music wise)

ticketmaster is complete bullshit. If I’m on the site the SECOND the tickets go on sale how the fuck is everything unavailable?? fuck stubhub and all those sites that sell the tickets at an inflated price

anyway 3.5 hours later, I finally got a ticket. not floor seats but nothing will beat the time i saw them 2 rows back at Irving Plaza in ‘06 so I can’t really complain

still sad john frusciante is no longer with them
